Description
Durable and long-lived, Swamp White Oak is a reliable native shade tree that is adaptable to both low-lying, wet areas and drier soils. Native from Quebec to GA, west to Michigan and Arkansas. Foliage is two-tone with dark glossy green on top of the leaf and velvety silvery-white beneath. Fall color is yellow and occasionally reddish-purple.
