Native shade tree - own root. Expansive, vase-shaped canopy with arching limbs; dark green summer foliage. Adapted to a wide variety of soil conditions and pH. Selected from the Washington Mall by the National Park Service. Outstanding level of Dutch elm disease tolerance.
