Juniperus virginiana ‘Providence’
Description
Native evergreen tree – own root. An attractive cultivar of Eastern Red Cedar, the Providence™ Eastern Red Cedar is an excellent selection with a root system and transplantability far more superior than most other cultivars of J. virginiana that we have seen. Discovered in Athens, GA, Providence™ is a very dense, broad-base native replacement for Leyland Cypress and Cryptomeria, good as a grouping or screening plant.
