Description

‘Centennial Blush’ is a selection of Magnolia stellata that Dr. Michael Dirr found as a seedling from the original ‘Centennial’ Star Magnolia, which commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Arnold Arboretum in 1972. It is an urban-tough ornamental that has a gorgeous white flower, blushed with a slight pink tinge on the back side of the petals, that emerges in late winter/early spring.
